Outreach
Victory Church shares in the great commission to GO into "all the world"... We do this through many levels of outreach in our church.
On an international level we sponsor many missionaries on every continent of the world. This has been and continues to be a burden that we share. These missionaries carry the gospel in areas that we can not. They start schools, preach, teach, multiply the church efforts and give feet to the burden of the church. We also share the burden to reach out to the world around us through our own foreign students and families in our area.
We believe that the first commandment as the Lord stated in Mark 12:30-31; "thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these", is also a burden we carry. This must be done through the efforts of all of us. Victory Church began as a "Home Missionary" work as you can find in our "History" and we continue to move forward with that same burden today. To reach local people with the Gospel in areas that have not been reached before.
And lastly we do our outreach through reaching our own family. Scripture states "what good has a man done if he gains the whole world but loses his own soul". We believe our first outreach is done in the home. Reaching our own children and family members with and through the Love of Jesus Christ! Our effort is to let our families know the true love of Jesus and the pleasure of serving him with all our heart.
Our effort in outreach is not only through departments but through individuals. Each member of Victory Church is a missionary! We live our lives to tell others of a better life!!!
Music
Victory Church has been blessed with an amazing amount of talent in our music department. We have always strove to glorify God with everything we have through quality singing and music that places an emphasis on true worship! We have set the bar high and continue to push harder for better. Through the talent of each musician and singer we arrive in an arena of worship, setting us up to have the Lord move in and through us. Throughout each year we are blessed to host live concerts, hear an anointed choir and listen to some of the most amazing praise singing.
Recently Victory has had the privilege of having Caleb Coppinger take over the direction of the music and the choir. He began at a very young age to play and sing but is an anointed preacher as well. His talent combined with a host of talented musicians and singers creates a powerful combination.

Ladies
The Ladies of Victory Church have been a powerful and critical part of Victory Church from day one. Not only did Pastor Castleberry lean hard on his wife during those early days as a help meet and support but Victory Church leans hard on all of the ladies who have held such an important role in ministry. As you can expect Victory Ladies make up a great part of our education department, our music department, our hospitality teams, etc... Their desire and availability to be used at Victory Church has made them vital to the past, present and future of our church!!!
The ladies of Victory help create an atmosphere of excellence that challenges each of us to be all that we can for the sake of the kingdom. The ladies of Victory Church bring quality taste to banquets, weddings, conferences and almost everything else we do. The Ladies ministry is built upon great relationships that serve one another and others.

Families
At the core of Victory Church you will find that we place a huge emphasis on our families. It is the family that is our first place of outreach. It is the family that is our core structure of support and it is the family that must hold fast in these days of decay.

Young Marrieds
Victory Church is full of young married couples!!! From a combination of a very low age in our community to the local college population we have found that Victory is a wonderful place for young married couples to flourish and thrive. These young families bring an energy and zeal to every part of our church.

College and Career
Surrendered Apostolics Living Truth (S.A.L.T.) was established to give Apostolic/ Pentecostal college students a supporting student organization on Texas A&M University campus. S.A.L.T. initially formed as a group of friends and college students attending Victory Church. What began as a group of six attending church and hanging out on campus quickly turned into a family away from home. More than six years later, S.A.L.T. has grown, continues to spread the gospel in Bryan/ College Station and serves as a support group for apostolic college students and single.
The name S.A.L.T. is, of course, the result of a bible verse. One of the founding members thought it was amusing that Mark 9:50 simply stated "Salt is good..." Deciding that this verse would be our motto, the words behind the acronym were determined. Our name was meant to be simple and direct. We strive to surrender to God's will in our lives, uphold and promote the apostolic doctrine and live our lives everyday seeking truth. The organization's stated mission also follows these ideals: "To connect our campus and community to Jesus Christ by providing opportunities for Apostolic worship, fellowship, biblical study, and spiritual growth under the leadership and guidance of the United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI) nationally and Victory United Pentecostal Church of College Station, Inc. locally."
Currently, S.A.L.T. is a recognized student organization of Texas A&M University. With this status, we are able to effectively market on campus. While we have grown considerably in the past six years, we are nowhere near our potential. Through student-led weekly bible studies at our campus meetings, biweekly meetings at Victory Church and prayer meetings, we continue to see a miraculous work of God at Texas A&M University and the surrounding community. Our greatest desire is to serve and gain a deeper spiritual relationship with Jesus and see a revival on the campuses of Blinn College and Texas A&M University.

Youth
Youth describes Victory Church!! From 12 years of age to high school, L.I.G.H.T. Student Ministry is your team! L.I.G.H.T. is an acronym for living in God's holy truth. It is our mission to assist parents and grandparents in molding students into disciples of Christ; by encouraging them to be relevant in our society, while holding fast to the apostles doctrine.
Have you been looking for something to do on a Friday night; look no further! L.I.G.H.T meets every Friday at 7:00 pm for a night of food, fun and fellowship! Games vary from hide and go seek (in the dark, of course) capture the flag, Xbox 360, pool, ping-pong, and foosball. You name it; we do it! Many of the students in L.I.G.H.T are actively involved in the music department, so it's not unusual to see a "jam session" going on every now and then as well.
Once a month, we team up with S.A.L.T. (college and career) to have a blow out service called Salt-n-Light. These services are an amazing time of worship and hearing the word! After SNL we have a mini lock-in that usually lasts to midnight or later! Come join us and allow L.I.G.H.T. to be apart of your walk with God!
If you have any questions or comments please feel free to email our department at light@victoryupc.com .

Children
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)
The goal of the Victory Church Children's Ministries can be summed up by Proverbs 22:6. Our mission is to win the souls of children in the Brazos Valley for the kingdom of God. Our desire is to teach the children that attend Victory Church, as well as the children in the Brazos Valley community that we have an impact on, of the ways of a Christian: what the Bible states is necessary for salvation, and what Jesus requires of us after we are saved.
Children's Ministries is made up of several layers in order to reach a widespread audience. Some of the layers are currently in place while others are under future plans of implementation: Sunday morning Sunday School, Wednesday night Children's Church, Saturday morning Visitation, Sweet Speaks ministry, Bible Quizzing, Summer activities, and Street RAGE ministry (future). If you have specific questions or comments regarding any of the layers within the Children's Ministries, please feel free to send your questions and/or comments to children@victoryupc.com .
The children's ministries staff is constantly growing to keep up with the ever-growing demand for our ministry. All the teachers, helpers, and workers devote many hours a week to fulfill their calling within the children's ministries. Many of our teachers are certified through the Teachers Certification Program of the UPCI, and as a staff, we try to attend at least one training conference per year to gain new ideas and insight.
Victory Church Children's Ministries works to create a fun and exciting atmosphere for each event we host or ministry we take on. Because children love to have fun, we bring the fun! We, at Victory Church, would like to extend an invitation to you, your family, and your friends: Come visit us and see how much fun living for God really is!
